TAKE ACTION
Tibet is helpless but you can help
As the world watches Tibet bleed, time is running out for Tibet. Governments have turned their backs to the situation in Tibet. Far is supporting the cause of Tibet, they don’t even talk about it due to fears of loosing business ties with China. At this crucial time, Tibet needs your voice like never before.

Here is what you can do to help..
1) Tell President Bush it’s time for peace in Tibet!
We know just last week eight Tibetans were killed in eastern Tibet after police fired into a crowd of several hundreds monks and laypeople protesting the “patriotic education” by the Chinese government as they visit Buddhist monasteries and demand monks to denounce the Dalai Lama.
As the reports of arrests, torture, and the deaths of Tibetans grow, Tibetans are working tirelessly to put pressure on China to show restraint in their reaction to the protests. And, we need your help!
Will you please help us and send a letter to President Bush urging him to put pressure on China? Take Action Now!
Tibetans are asking President Bush to take a stand for the Tibetan people and not attend the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics.
2) Boycott Made in China
This is the least anyone all around the world can do to express their solidarity with the on going killings in Tibet.. Visit www.boycottmadeinchina.org for more info
3) Sign a petition:

.
5) Contact your member of Congress, explain the urgent situation in Tibet and ask that they call on China to open Lhasa to foreign media.

6) Make a phone call (by Tenzin Nyinma)
For all those who want to stage your concern over the brutality and atrocities impounded on Tibetans, now you can manifest your concerns in the following ways:
I) Urge President Bush to speak out publicly and ask China to show restraint, as well as address the fundamental causes that have led to events of the past week. Please call the President at 001-202-456-1111 or contact him by email at comments@whitehouse.gov.
II) It is critical that the protesters receive the full support of the global community. Please show the Chinese government that the whole world is watching and demand the immediate release of all Tibetans who have been detained in these peaceful protests.

The survival of the Tibetan people requires nothing less than a revolution! How can we support these deeply spiritual people in their quest to preserve their culture? Consider this…perhaps we can begin by voting with our feet!! How? Imagine the power of one million consumers who choose not to purchase something ‘ Made in China ‘ simply to save 50 cents! If the Tibetan monk has the courage to stand in the face of his enemies can we not support him from our ‘ safe distance ‘ world using economic weapons? Ghandi once said” There is nothing passive about my resistance…it is simply non violent”.

It makes me sick to understand the brutality that is occuring in Tibet. I am personally aware of many instances of attacks against innocent Tibetans, people who just want the normal human right to express themselves, to air grivances about the Chinese stealing their land. Why in the world doesn’t America stand up for Tibetans? Why in the world would the CIA pull out after supporting Tibet secretly for 20 years. Turning out heads and enjoying the profit of cheap STUFF is NOT what America stands for. I believe Tibet should be free!

Who Weeps for Tibet?
Who weeps for the Tibetan nation?
Not the great men with power;
Nor men like Richard Branson,
Only old men in Dharamsala!
Who weeps for a nation in chains?
Not the men with whips and tazers;
Nor the communist prison guards,
Only the nuns in Drapche prison!
Who weeps for the Tibetan People?
Not the nations that trade with china;
Nor NATO or the United Nations,
Only homeless exiled children!
Who weeps for Tibet?

BEJING GOLD
The light of truth cannot be hid
For it is brighter than Olympia,
The ghosts of your past, grows;
Haunts you even at the podium…
The bloody deeds that you hide
Boldly in portal of your ancestors,
Attracted to the flames, ascend
Exposing all the lies and deceit
Your “one world” is not sincere
This “one dream”, we’ll not share
While we are being oppressed,
And tortured by your policies
To the athletes we kindly ask
Will you wear the Beijing gold
Now that it’s stained with blood
Of lives that only offered peace?
These now are games of death
Soiled in blood, tear and deceit
And you and I know they end
Not with victory, but with shame!

The world should not be shocked and reviled should the younger Tibetans take to fighting China using conventional means. We have suffered too long and the world has been too silent on the atrocities perpetrated on peace loving Tibetans. It would seem natural that in order to prevent the total annihilation of our race, Tibetans may have to abandon what is most sacred to us and fight the good fight. Many nations will turn on Tibetans should this happen, but I say, monkey see, monkey do. It is certainly, not the right choice, certainly not what we want, and definitely a suicide mission, but fire must be fought with fire! Have the Tibetans a choice; have the Tibetans other viable options other than trash talk about “dialogue and peaceful solution” by disinterested politicians living in glass houses? None! The world expects peace and acceptance of Chinese brutality, but when war comes home, show us nation that has offered flowers instead of bullets!
