    Tibetans in Nepal donate Blood

    Dalai Lama arrives in London for 11-day visit

    hhdl.jpgLONDON (AFP) — The Dalai Lama arrived in Britain Tuesday for an 11-day visit, notably to meet Prime Minister Gordon Brown and address MPs, after a trip to Germany that stirred up fresh tension with China.

    The Tibetan spiritual leader touched down at London’s Heathrow airport from Berlin — one of five cities he visited in Germany to talk about human rights and peace as well as meet lawmakers and address the country’s parliament.

    Tibetan Freedom Torch marched through Toronto during worldwide trek to Tibet

    TORONTO — Protesters gathered outside Toronto’s Chinese Consulate on Sunday morning for a march with the Tibetan Freedom Torch - the symbolic foil to the Olympic torch, which made it’s final stop in Canada before continuing its worldwide trek to Tibet.

    About 150 supporters marched through downtown Toronto in the rain to add their voices to the chorus of worldwide support to have Tibet freed from Chinese control.

    Tibetans offer Solace to China Quake Victims through Prayers
